Building on a substantial background in mobile robotic platforms, RTT was formed to pursue technologies related to the inspection, maintenance and manufacture of ferrous structures. RTT is presently pursuing commercial application of several novel robotic applications, in particular to further the developments of the company’s robotic inspection platforms into the manufacturing field.
Robotic Technologies of Tennessee specializes in the design, development, integration, and application of dexterous manipulators and mobile climbing robot platforms for use in inspection, maintenance, and manufacturing tasks in hazardous environments. These environments include, but are not limited to the electric power generation facilities, ship building industry, and fuel storage tank demolition. RTT applies this experience to providing both in-field inspection services and a commercial sales product and continues to pursue research in advancing the mobile robotic technology into areas formerly deemed to harsh or unstructured for automated tools.
